Pause on Salve Production, New Products to Come!!

Hello everyone,

I hope this message finds you well. I wanted to take a moment to address some important changes happening at Sacred Roots Apothecary. Recently, the FDA has introduced new legislation for the cosmetics industry. As a result, our current manufacturing process is not in compliance with these new regulations. 

While this means we need to temporarily stop the production and sale of our beloved herbal-infused salves and skincare products, I want to assure you that this is not a setback, but rather an opportunity for growth and improvement. Our commitment to providing you with safe, natural, and high-quality products remains unwavering. We will be dedicating this time to thoroughly reviewing and updating our processes to meet these new standards. This is a wonderful opportunity to introduce more products to the testing phase, and master even more formulas, creating even more all natural products to come.

In the meantime, I am excited to explore new nature-based crafts, such as basket weaving, foraging classes, plant identification booklets, art featuring wild edible and medicinal plants and herbs, other nature based goods and natural based jewelry. This period of transition will allow us to expand our offerings and bring even more unique, handmade items to our community.
